QuickDOC User License Terms
(last rev. 3/7/2003)
1. You have the right to use this program on any number of computers or on a network so long as those machines are used to support the Interlibrary Loan activity of a library or libraries assigned a single National Library of Medicine LIBID. If you are coordinating requests for more than one LIBID, you should purchase a program for each of them (this is more than a legal requirement; if your records are to be segregated from each other, you will need one program for each).
2. This program---like all other software programs you've seen---is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The entire risk as to results and performance of the program is assumed by you. No consequential or incidential damages are to be attributed to the author. All reasonable efforts will be made, of course, to ensure the continued improvement and utility of the program.
3. Legalities aside, it is expected that by keeping the QuickDOC price at a reasonable level, we will accomplish two ends:
4. This license will persist into the forseeable future, and will include all updates, as they are posted (see http://nnlm.gov/quickdoc/InstallQD.html for the latest update), provided that your QuickDOC Annual Update subscription is kept up to date. The first year's subscription is free, and subsequent subscriptions are billed on a sliding scale based on number of ILL transactions per year.
